The Challenge
Sierra Nevada Corporation engaged 900lbs to design and develop an interactive experience to be showcased in their exhibit at the 36th Annual Space Symposium. This interactive experience is centered around their highly-anticipated, customizable multi-mission spacecraft - The Dream Chaser®. The storytelling aspect would focus on flexibility, capacity, reusability, habitability, and versatility of the space plane, with a big emphasis on its journey from Earth and back. 900lbs worked with SNC’s military and aerospace subject matter experts to craft this mission-based interactive.
The Solution
The Dream Chaser® interactive experience is a unique platform for users to become enveloped in a spacecraft that will soon change the way the world goes to space. The experience tells the key “beats” of the story through dynamic photos and short cinematic clips. The user can swipe between the beats of the story and tap on hotspots that trigger additional content. This experience lives on both a 4K capacitive touch-screen TV, a 4K touch-screen tablet and on SNC’s website
